Our Parish is part of the Catholic Church in England. We are in the Deanery of Dover in the Archdiocese of Southwark. We are part of that great network of communities that make up the Catholic Church throughout the world, all in communion with the Successor of Peter in Rome.

is at St John’s Church, Mongeham
The Convent of Our Lady of the Missions
is nearby to St John’s at Beech Court on Rectory Road; the sisters in residence are retired from active work, mainly in teaching around the world. Mass is offered daily at the Convent at 11.15am.
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School
is next door to St John’s Church on St Richard’s Road; it is a one-form entry primary school and part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership multi-academy trust.

created in 2011 to conserve within the Catholic Church those aspects of Anglican tradition consonant with the Catholic faith; the Deal Mission of the Ordinariate is at St John’s Mongeham.

An enclosed community of Benedictine nuns; we have been visiting the Abbey in August every year for many years and have a strong spiritual friendship with them
